Site: Ågesta, Farsta, Stockholm
Sweden's first nuclear reactor to generate power. A heavy-water design built into rock south of Stockholm, it was primarily a combined heat and power plant supplying ~68 MW of district heating to the Farsta suburb plus about 10 MWe of electricity. Permanently shut down on 2 June 1974.
