Summary:

Spain's only General Electric BWR-6 boiling water reactor, located on the Júcar river in Valencia. Cofrentes went critical in August 1984 and is wholly owned and operated by Iberdrola. Uprates have raised its output over its lifetime to about 1,064 MWe net.
