Site: Sessa Aurunca, Campania
An early General Electric dual-cycle boiling water reactor on the Garigliano river near Sessa Aurunca. Reached first criticality on 5 June 1963. Operations ceased in 1978 due to steam generator problems and it was formally shut down permanently on 1 March 1982; now under SOGIN decommissioning.
