In commercial operation — the operator has formally declared the unit in regular commercial service. Site: Visaginas, Utena County
One of two RBMK-1500 units at Ignalina, the largest reactor design of the RBMK line (1500 MWe design, derated in operation). Permanently shut down 31 December 2004 as a condition of Lithuania's EU accession.
